Home Support Outreach Services

We offer various support services including Quick clean where we will help someone who needs a freshen up in their home, Garden Services we won’t let people sit in their homes and look out onto an overgrown garden, we offer a quick cut which will include grass , hedge cut and general tidy up this will help the elderly and housebound in our community get back on their feet. All our home visits are carried out by way of referrals from family, Health Centres, neighbours and assessment will always be carried out first.

Drop in Centre ( Coming Soon )

We hope to run a drop in centre where people can come have a cup of tea and cake and make new friends. When a centre comes available we will hopefully hold lunch clubs arranging transport via Ring & Ride so the elderly can at least have one hot meal instead of worrying about where their next meals coming from.

Services for everyone

We strive to illuminate the precise needs of the less fortunate within our community, ensuring that our efforts yield targeted and impactful support. We endeavor to identify the specific requirements of those in need, crafting our assistance to be both focused and effective.

Teen Groups and Home Ed Groups

We believe that the youth of today are our future of tomorrow. They need support and somewhere to meet others in similar situations.

Our  Services are a much needed service in our community. Please donate as little or as much as you can .

Lonely deaths in the uk

While a precise percentage of deaths occurring alone is difficult to determine, it's estimated that around 4 per 100,000 people die alone and undiscovered for a week or more in the UK. This equates to roughly 8,000-9,000 "lonely deaths" annually. The trend indicates a significant rise in this phenomenon, particularly in the past 50 years

Outreach Services . Are we needed ?

Yes, outreach programs for the elderly are needed in Birmingham, UK, and organizations like Age UK are actively providing them. These programs address issues like loneliness, social isolation, and access to essential services. Here's why outreach programs are valuable: Addressing Loneliness and Isolation: Many older adults experience loneliness and social isolation, which can negatively impact their mental and physical health. Outreach programs help combat this by offering social interaction, companionship, and opportunities to participate in activities. Providing Access to Services: Outreach programs can help older individuals access essential services like meals, healthcare, transportation, and information about available support. Promoting Healthy Aging: By encouraging physical activity, social interaction, and engaging in activities they enjoy, outreach programs can contribute to a positive and fulfilling aging experience. Empowering Older Adults: Outreach programs can empower older adults by providing them with the resources and support they need to live independently and actively. There are organisations who offer similar services but mainly for one age group whereas we offer services for housebound, disabled people as well.
